I found a teeny tiny dried starfish in an oddities shop in New Orleans years ago and made a mold from it so I could cast these cuties in metal to wear them!
Each tiny starfish is crafted by hand by pressing metal clay into a mold made from a real tiny starfish, then hand cut, sanded and then kiln fired and finished to this beautiful and unique embellishment. I then fabricate each piece onto a sterling silver ear post. As with any handmade item, variations are to be expected and enjoyed!
Sterling Silver option has an oxidized (darkened) brushed finish
Bronze option is a polished finish
Both materials have .925 sterling silver ear posts and nuts
